Cummins Expands Again

Cummins will add 600 new professional employees and build a new office building in downtown Columbus, IN. It is the third expansion project announced by Cummins in the past year.
"Our success in global markets over the past few years allowed us to remain strong during the recent economic downturn and has positioned the Company for a period of accelerated growth," said Cummins President and Chief Operating Officer Tom Linebarger. "These well-paying professional jobs will be crucial as we chart a course for future growth both here and abroad."

Cummins named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies.

Cummins was named one of the "World's Most Ethical Companies" in 2010 by the Ethisphere Institute. The institute recognizes commitment to ethical leadership, compliance practices and corporate social responsibility. This is the fifth straight year that the Ethisphere Institute has selected us. The Cummins Energy Champions and Leaders Program won first place in the WorkBoat Environmental Awards for a Comprehensive Environmental Management Plan. This unique program empowers individuals to develop and implement energy saving processes. Read more.
Cummins named one of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity

Cummins made DiversityInc's List of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity for the fifth consecutive year. We finished 26th on the 2011 list. We also received a perfect rating for a fifth consecutive year from the largest U.S. advocacy group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees. Read more.

Cummins finished 12th on Bloomberg BusinessWeek's list of the top performing stocks over the past five years. Cummins stock appreciated 278 percent over the five years compared to an average of 10 percent for all other companies over that time period. Read more.
