In 2000, Cummins U.K. turned a vintage London red bus green with a low-emissions, 150 hp, 5.9-liter engine featuring early use of exhaust after-treatment. Although 34 years old, it became the cleanest bus in London, years ahead of the Low Emission Zone requirement.
